December 2008
We are waiting on a surgery date for our father for early December. In the mean time, we are headed out to Aspen Co to sponsor the Chris Klug Foundation event “Summit for Life” on Dec 5-7th. Chris Klug, profesional snowboarder received a liver transplant and promotes organ donor awareness through sports.
We will be climbing Aspen Mountain to promote this very special cause with around 500 people who will be attending the 3rd annual event.

Well we just found out a week before Thanksgiving that our donor is medically cleared from her secondary testing. It has officially been a year and three months that we orginally posted the ad on craigslist. We are thrilled and still in shock. After all the struggles and triumphs along the way, we now have a donor! We are grateful for this special person for giving our father back a healthy life.
We are thankful for all of our donors that tested for our father. Words cannot explain how much we appreciate your unending efforts to save our father. We also would like to thank all of our friends, family and supporters. You inspired us and shaped our journey.
After helping our father,we have so much more passion now to save others going through the same situation.

Well, we lost one donor due to medical reasons we cannot disclose. We really thought this donor was the one. Now, we are working with our backup donor. It has been a rigorous process but we still have hope.
We are sponsoring the National Kidney Foundation on October 19, 2008 at South Street Seaport in NYC.

It is now Summer and we have two donors who are in the primary stages of testing. We are hopeful as it has been a long journey for all of us. We will know by the end of this month if we have a surgery date. I am off to the cape to relax. Our fingers are crossed and at this point we are just hoping for the best.
Hello World!
It is March 21, 2008 and we are pleased to announce it looks like we may potentially have a donor. We are waiting on secondary testing to determine if all is well. So far, primary testing went well.
